What sports did you play while at Oberlin?
Soccer- 4 Varsity Letters, Lorain County MVP, and 3rd Team All Ohio
Track – 2 Varsity Letters
Tennis- 1 Varsity Letter
Did you play any sports in college after you graduated?
I was a 4 year letter award winner at Case Western.
Cleveland Freeze Professional Arena Soccer League-1 year
USA Deaf National Soccer team – 6 years, 2019 Pan American Champions and Golden Boot Award Winner
What was your favorite class and or teacher while at Oberlin?
Too many to choose from. Kurt Russell, Mrs. Tolbert-Brown, Pat Price were amongst my favorites as they all challenged me in many different ways on papers and in presentations. I always enjoyed learning from their lessons and their past!
What is your favorite sports memory from Oberlin?
As a player, winning Two Patriot Athletic Conference Titles in my Junior and Senior years (First two titles in Oberlin Boys Soccer History).
As a coach, beating Columbia in a comeback Double Overtime win in a downpour in the 2014 District Semifinal playoffs.
If you could give any advice to current high school students what would you tell them?
Cherish every moment you have with your friends, teammates, and mentors.  Don’t be afraid to show your pride for yourself, your family/friends, and be proud to represent your hometown and your school, OB What!
What are you currently doing right now?
After graduating from Case Western Reserve University in 2011 with a BA in Economics and Sociology, coached Oberlin High School Boys Soccer from 2013-2016 and worked as a manager at the local Slow Train Cafe during that time.  Currently living in Berea with my wife Amanda and dog Rue.  I am now working as a personal trainer and private soccer lessons coach while continuing my playing career with the USA Deaf National Soccer team in pursuit of the Deaf World Cup and Deaflympics Championships!
