Langston middle school traveled to South Central for the SC Invitational,  With a lighter squad than normal a few wrestlers were able to make some noise. The tournament was round robin style where each athlete wrestles all the kids in their respective weight class.
Although all of the wrestler who competed today made improvements, there was two wrestler’s that stood out with exceptional performances.
It was first year wrestler Adam Freas’ first tournament of the year. Adam pinned his first 3 opponents all within the first round going 3-0 earning him a chance to wrestle for 1st or 2nd. In the finals match Adam wrestled South Centrals Hayden Berry losing 10-2 finishing 2nd overall and 3-1 on the day.
2nd year wrestler Braydon Dobos managed to record a couple of pins going 2-0 and finishing 1st in the 122lb weight class.
This week, Langston will travel to Columbia to open up PAC action on Thursday at 4:30pm. it will be a tri meet with Columbia, Brooklyn and Fairview.
